Welcome to the Battle of Stockton Campaign. This site is run by a small team of volunteers, dedicated to the research and study of events leading up to 1933. Our aim is to commemorate the Labour and Communist parties chasing of Mosley’s fascists out of Stockton on 10th September 1933.  By 1936 the British Union of Fascists (BUF) had become the largest organised antisemitic force in Britain and the story of Cable Street is well documented. Here in Stockton on Tees and three years before Cable Street, our own story is beginning to be told.
